It scores six factors: Age, Granule Condition, Flexibility, Surface Integrity, Curling and Edge Lift, and Bio Growth and Moisture. Flexibility and Surface Integrity require physically handling a shingle, so a genuine score cannot be produced from a website. Your score sets which treatment you qualify for and how long the warranty runs.

How long does the treatment last?
Warranty length is set by your Roof Health Score at inspection. A roof scoring 90 to 100 can carry a 20 year non-prorated warranty plus 5 years of hail coverage. A roof in the 75 to 89 range carries 15 years. Lower scores carry shorter terms. Nobody can quote you a warranty length before the roof is scored.
Will this work on a roof that already has hail damage?
It depends on the damage. Bruising that has fractured the mat under the granules is different from surface granule loss. That is exactly what the free inspection determines. Burleigh and Morton counties have had 128 days of one-inch-or-larger hail since 2000, so this comes up constantly.
